剧情百科常识:
妮无疑可以说是那个年代中失意，落魄的一代的代表。她有个虐待狂的父亲，虽然有理想，却止步现实。面对生活的残酷她不得不去酒吧当一名脱衣歌手，卖弄的是肉体而不是歌声。越南战争期间，嬉皮士运动兴起，珍妮无疑可以说是他们的一个代表。低头屈服，甘心堕落，同时自己也鄙视自己，就像她打算自杀时，从阳台上下来失声痛哭一样，这么做又能怎么样呢，她还是需要活着。珍妮与阿甘之间的爱情，也注定是悲剧的。虽然影片后半部分阿甘与珍妮度过了一段美好时光，这是悲痛的种子。珍妮与阿甘并排坐在湖边，阿甘说这是他一生中最美好的时光，就在这个时候，美丽的烟火出现了。烟火的美转瞬即逝，预示着珍妮与阿甘如同烟火一样的幸福。
